The Dark Star Orchestra brings their fans on an adventure through the past. Using entire shows from the Grateful Dead's 30 years of extensive touring as a launching pad, DSO recreates the original song for song performance set list for an entirely new generation of Deadheads. The historic accuracy with which DSO crafts its shows is what really makes the experience. For example, the band positions the stage based on the year of the Grateful Dead show they are performing. They even adapt their phrasing, voice arrangements, and go so far as to arranging specific musical equipment for the correct era in which they perform.
