Aventurera is Mexico's longest playing and most popular musical with a list of Mexican stars that reads like a who's who of the entertainment sector – Edith Gonzalez, Carmen Salinas, Jorge Salinas, Eduardo Santamarina, Latin Lover, Luis Felipe Tovar, Sebastian Ruli, Como "Bugambilia" Xavier Ortiz, Mary Boquitas and Pedro Armendariz Jr.
Aventurera is a story based in the 1940's about a naive young woman; Elena Tejero (Aventurera) who lives a calm life which is torn to pieces when her mother leaves with her lover, which causes the suicide of her father. Elena is single and without resources and immigrates to the City of Juarez, Northern Mexico where she accepts work without suspecting that she will be prostituted. (!)
Set up as a cabaret, this musical is an engaging experience with audience participation and interaction. Get ready to be swept away into the 1940s!
