TicketShock - Finally, a ticket price comparison engine (that works)

Something new: Ticket Shock

So you want to find deals on tickets? I'm putting the finishing touches on the first version of TicketShock (An event ticket comparison engine).

Currently it is in a VERY rough format (but fully functional).

What does that mean for you? Well, TicketShock compares ticket prices from multiple brokers and also finds tickets for the event on eBay... giving you a better chance to score some affordable tickets.

I have to say that the project is going much better than I had hoped, and so far the feedback I have gotten has been good.

Anyways, comments are welcome, please be patient, if the site goes on and offline over the next few weeks it is only for a minute or two at a time... I promise!

Cheers.

Hey WiseGuy,

Love the idea, but it seems that there is a lot of work to do in presenting a good ticket price comparison engine.

1) I looked at a few of your featured events and it seems that only EBAY is your only ticket provider even though you mentioned that Stubhub.com and ticketsnow.com are included.

2) There is no order in the pricing (from low to high) and no relevance to the pricing (what price for what seats.)

Anyhow, just a few ideas to help improve your price comparison project. I know from experience that it is harder than it seems to get it right. Good luck to ya!
